Our partners in Kiruna have designed an extraordinary 10-12 KM circuit that traverses some of the most breathtaking Arctic wilderness in the region, ensuring you create unforgettable memories during your dog sledding adventure with us. Your adventure will be led by a professional musher/guide, steering a sled that can accommodate up to four guests. This arrangement guarantees the highest levels of safety for our guests and welcomes participants with various levels of physical ability to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime dog sledding experience. While our skilled musher manages the dog team, you can relax, capture numerous pictures, and savor every moment of your Arctic wilderness journey.

Around the midpoint of your dog sledding journey, we’ll pause at our secluded Arctic wilderness camp. Here, your guide will kindle a cozy fire, serve piping hot beverages, and offer a taste of classic Swedish Fika. Picture yourself sipping on a warm cup of coffee or tea accompanied by fragrant cinnamon rolls. During this intermission, we encourage you to share some quality one-on-one moments with your loyal canine companions. They adore cuddles and belly rubs as tokens of appreciation for whisking you through this quintessential dog sledding adventure.

Once you’ve had a chance to unwind by the fire, we’ll rejoin our dog sleds and continue our scenic 10-12 KM circuit.

Lunch is not provided, and there are no dining options at the dogsledding camp. To ensure you have a satisfying meal during the excursion, we strongly advise bringing a packed lunch with you.

Join us for this exciting activity in Oinakka, situated near Kiruna. Your adventure begins with complimentary round-trip transportation from Abisko and Björkliden, ensuring a seamless journey to our captivating destination.

You may be sharing a sled with fellow participants, as we accommodate up to four people per sled.

The duration of the sled ride typically spans around 2 segments of approximately 30 minutes each. However, the actual duration may vary slightly, either shorter or longer, based on prevailing snow conditions.

Minimum age allowed for this activity is 5 years old.

Complimentary round-trip transportation is included, picking you up from your hotel in Abisko or Björkliden and taking you to the dogsledding camp near Kiruna.
Warm overalls, winter boots, hats and gloves.
Your experience includes a warm beverage and a delightful cinnamon bun, but kindly remember to bring your own lunch for the day.

Pick up

Abisko hotels: 9:15 – 9:30 am (Please go to the lobby of your hotel by 9:15 am at the latest).
Björkliden hotels: 9:00 am (Please go to the lobby of your hotel by 8:50 am at the latest).

Return Schedule

Departure from Oinakka at 1:45 PM.
All guests will be back at their hotels by 4:00 PM.
